We are looking for a passionate and experienced Youth Tball/Baseball/Softball Coach to help coach and supervise youth t-ball, baseball, and girls’ softball games for children ages 4-12. Position Overview
As a Youth Baseball/Softball Coach, you will be responsible for leading drills at practice, coaching games, and supervising youth participants. This role involves helping young athletes develop their skills, understanding the fundamentals of the game, and fostering teamwork in a fun and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coach youth t-ball, baseball, and girls' softball games for children ages 4-12.
  • Lead practice drills and teach the fundamentals of baseball/softball, focusing on technique, teamwork, and game strategy.
  • Ensure a safe and positive environment for all participants, encouraging skill development and sportsmanship.
  • Provide individual feedback to players and help them improve their skills.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians as needed.
  • Set up and clean up equipment before and after games and practices.
  • Promote a positive and fun atmosphere to inspire a love for the game.

Work Schedule
This position requires part-time availability with hours on Monday-Thursday mornings and early afternoons (8:30 AM - 1:45 PM), as well as Tuesday/Thursday evenings (5:30 PM - 7:45 PM) from June 9th to July 31st. The position involves 16-22 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage and motivate youth players in baseball/softball.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with youth in a sports setting or play or have coached baseball/softball is preferred.
  • Knowledge: A solid understanding of baseball/softball rules and techniques, with the ability to coach games and lead drills in practice effectively.
