We are looking for knowledgeable and experienced Adult Volleyball Officials to officiate adult volleyball league games and tournaments. If you have played volleyball or have experience refereeing and are familiar with high school and USA Volleyball standards, this is a great opportunity to contribute to the game while ensuring fair play and creating a positive experience for players and spectators.

Position Overview
As an Adult Volleyball Official, you will be responsible for officiating volleyball games, ensuring fair play, and maintaining the integrity of the game. You will interact with players, league coordinators, and spectators, providing a respectful and cooperative atmosphere. This position requires a strong understanding of volleyball rules and the ability to officiate games fairly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Officiate adult volleyball games in a fair and impartial manner, following high school and USA Volleyball standards.
  • Interact with players, league coordinators, and spectators in a respectful and cooperative manner.
  • Ensure the safety of players and maintain a positive and professional environment during games.
  • Work closely with the league coordinator to ensure player and spectator satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or league coordinator.
  • If you’re available, here are the scheduled tournaments to officiate (October 18 & 19, January 10 & 11, and April 11 & 12).

Work Schedule
This position requires availability on Sunday evenings from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM (September 7 – October 26) and Wednesday evenings from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM (August 6 – October 29). Flexible hours are available if you can only work one of the scheduled nights. There are also opportunities to officiate tournaments on select dates.

Qualifications

  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of volleyball rules and ability to officiate games in a fair and professional manner.
  • Experience: Previous volleyball playing or officiating experience is required.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with high school rules and USA Volleyball standards.
