Part-Time in West Fargo, ND

YOUTH VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE COORDINATOR - FEB/MAR- MON & TUES

Applicants for this position must have volleyball experience (either playing and/or officiating), and be familiar with High School and USA Volleyball standards. Youth league will be 3rd-6th grade players. The League Coordinator responsibilities will include having equipment ready for league play and practices (balls out, nets set at correct heights, practice plans prepared, etc.), managing coaches, ensuring timely play by teams, returning equipment to storage and performing light cleanup of play area. Ability to create practice plans for practice nights and relay them to your coaches. League coordinator will interact with players at practices and during games. Paid for prep time. Must be able to work 5:00-8:15pm. Monday and Tuesday evenings from February 13 - March 28. Mondays will be practice and Tuesdays will be games. Must be 18 and older to apply.

Pay scale $15.00-$18.00 per hour.

YOUTH VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE COACH -FEB/MAR- MON & TUES

You will be coaching youth grades 3rd-6th for girls and boys. Coaches will be responsible for assisting League Coordinator with team practices. Coaches will be responsible for all aspects of practice and game play. League Coordinator will create practice plans to follow on practice nights but coaches must be able to demonstrate the practice plan to players. During matches coaches from each team will take turns to ref a game. Youth leagues will run on Monday and Tuesday nights, February 13 - March 28. Mondays will be practices and Tuesdays will be games. Must be able to work 5:15-8:15pm. Must have knowledge of volleyball and some volleyball reffing. Must be 16 and older to apply.

Pay $12-$15 per hour.

YOUTH BASEBALL AND TBALL COACH - MAR - APR - SATURDAYS

Individuals must be at least 16 years of age or older. Responsibilities include supervising and coaching youth baseball and tball practices/games for ages 4-9 year olds. Individuals must possess good public relation skills with children and parents. Complete knowledge of baseball rules and the ability to lead practice or drills and coach games. Hours are Saturday mornings October 1 – November 19 from 9:00am-1:30pm and/or March 4-April 29 from 9:00am- 2:45pm inside turf area at Rustad Recreation Center.

Pay $13.00-$15.00 per hour

SPORTS SAMPLER INSTRUCTOR - MARCH 21-29- TUES & THURS
Individuals must be at least 16 years of age. Staff will lead youth in a variety of sports and skills. With emphasis on having fun, and teaching the very basics of different sports. Must be able to work evenings. Schedule will vary.

Pay $14.00-16.00 per hour


ADULT VOLLEYBALL OFFICIAL

Applicants must have played volleyball in the past or are currently playing or refereeing and are familiar with high school rules and USA Volleyball standards of play. Applicants will be required to interact with the public on an on-going basis in the role of a referee (players and public), officiate games in a fair manner, demonstrates extensive knowledge of the rules and interacts with players, league coordinator and spectators in a respectful and cooperative manner. Officials will work closely with the league coordinator and ensures player and spectator satisfaction and performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and league coordinator. Must be able to work February 8-April 27 on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 7:00-10:00pm. Flexible hours if you can only work one night or one league. Tournaments are also available to officiate: January 14 & 15 and April 15 & 16. Must be 18 and older to apply.

Pay $24 per match

YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Applicants must be at least 18+ years old. Experience teaching yoga is highly preferred. Responsibilities include creating yoga plans, leading classes for youth and adult. Schedule is flexible with room to grow to more hours/classes. Most classes will be evening weekdays. However, classes can be set around the instructors schedule.

Pay $25.00 per hour
